History runs deep in this part of northern Oklahoma, and the horseback trail riders that have joined Del Shields on this adventure were able to experience it first hand. This working cattle ranch is well known for its land conservation efforts and the top grade cattle that feed on these native grasses.

Avid horseback trail riders from across the country traveled to Utah to ride with Del Shields of RFD TV on the beautiful Thunder mountain trails. Sharing the trails with mountain bikers and hikers was no problem as all were in awe of the beauty of this place.

While enjoying various activities and being filmed for RFD TV, the riders enjoyed amazing summer time temperatures and weather. This campground offers spacious parking and RV hookups for large horse trailers and RVs. It is a favorite to many.

Del and Shevawn were highly impressed with the amount of events, activities and level of teaching that takes place at this ever-expanding facility. The trails are beautiful to ride and the experience is top shelf. This horse camp facilitates rigs of all sizes and has stalls for every horse. This century farm experience is worth the drive.

Ride of the Little Bighorn

Trail Riders from across the country came to ride with Del Shields on the historic land of the Crow Nation, known to most as the Custer Battle Field. Best of America By Horseback led more than 70 Riders through the Little Bighorn River in the exact location where Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse and other great chiefs led their people across. This was an epic event for this group of Adventurers.

Never tired of watching your show. We visited this park this past summer. We didn't have our horses, but stopped while on route home. We wanted to check out facilities - they are awesome. Stop in ranger station, and they were very helpful too. Trails look stunning
The V6 Ranch and Ranch Family are the absolute best. I miss you guys since moving to Maui. I may have to fly in to come on next year's girls trip.

I miss this place. Wayne Huffman and I spent a whole summer there when Rick and Jill were getting this up and going after the devastating tornado. The main house wasn't completed yet. They worked on the outside half stalls. I lost Wayne to a tractor accident, but I know he is so proud of Rick and Jill and what they have accomplished. Wish we were there.
It IS Jill and Rick who are the main attraction to this camp!

Are there limitations to how large the tack area has to be, or how small it can be - height of opening, width, interior of the tack area width, etc.? Some tack areas don't seem to have much space.

I deliver gutter supplies. I got to deliver to the Hang em high horse camp. I had never heard of it but when I arrived I was absolutely mezmorized!! It was huge and it is such an amazing looking place, it made me want to get on a horse and go down a trail.

They have built a barn and have been continually adding improvements and amenities. You should take time to re-vist.

It was a nice time. The campgrounds and sites are great, and so nice to have covered stalls! We didn't go out and see the really awesome stuff. The group ride, well it was nice, well managed, but 100 horses is too many to enjoy the scenery much. Enjoyed meeting Pat and Tom, and all the new horsey friends. Our hosts were the BEST!
Awesome video, however it would have been nice not to see a political flag located in a predominate manner behind one of the folks you were interviewing. I LOVE your videos, but would of preferred a non biased political video.
